Technical Art Direction
These are a few of the projects I worked on as a Tech-Art Supervisor while at The Third Floor.
Please note that TTF is just one of many companies that work on these productions. Their area of expertise is Visualization, often involving working with the directors in the earliest pre-production stages, often before actors are hired or scripts are finalized. They also provide Virtual Production and Post-Visualization services which means they are often involved all the way until final VFX, helping translate the director’s vision into a plan of action for the entire production.
My role as Tech Art Supervisor consists of hiring and training Technical Artists and Technical Directors to work on these projects full time, as well as providing support throughout production. My participation is regularly hands on as well, often involving workflow exploration, shader work, artist-tool creation, visual effects, lighting, rendering, asset/scene optimization, debugging, and documentation.

Game Design
The Atlas Problem is a roguelike survival and base-building FPS set on Saturn's moon - Atlas.
This game is a collaboration with long time friend Michael Carmody. It started as a passion project around 2019, got shelved for around 5 years while we both were working fulltime jobs, and we recently revisited to conduct a massive refactor, basically remaking the game from scratch starting around October 2024. What you see here is the fully revamped / refactored / redesigned game as it stands after a bit over 6 months of part-time labor.
I plan to make some more in-depth blog posts about the development process and show some behind the scenes content so be sure to check it out!
